7” quilt pumpkin pillow, antique rustic worn FALL bowl filler, repurposed primitive tattered quilt decor, thanksgiving cupboard tuck accent

I have searched the New England countryside high and low to find antique textiles to repurpose here in my Massachusetts farmhouse studio. I came across a rare find: a worn and tattered 19th century quilt where only the one piece was salveageable so the 3 sets of these I was able to make are one of a kind and of different coloration variations and sizes.

I made this antique 19th century cure pumpkin quilt pillow and the soft autumn-inspired green and white quilt pillows are just lovely in detail. I placed a heart on the front and finished it with a cute jute bow. The reverse is a white quilted feed sack.
