DetailsI’ve been scouring the New England countryside for rare antique textiles to reimagine into new decor and handcraft in my 1787 farmhouse studio.
Here: I came upon a rare find in this antique French red and grey toile. I fashioned the small piece into a large cat pillow and finished the kitty with antique layered lace, a red button and satin bow.
The cat is suitable for farmhouse, shabby cottagecore or French country decors. This cat is large enough to be displayed as a decorative pillow, or would be charming as a bowl filler, tier tray display or cupboard tuck. This cat would make a lovely or thoughtful cat lover gift.
