I’ve searched the New England countryside all over to seek out unique antique textiles to repurpose into new decor here in my Massachusetts 1787 farmhouse studio.

Here: I found an extremely rare and softly worn 19th century antique quilt in lovely colors that just seemed be perfect for this primitive farmhouse gingerbread man. I really liked the finely done handstitched detail, colors and soft wear. I thought it perfect for Christmas gingerbread man decor and I’ve made it up into just ONE Christmas pillow, as I was only able to salvage just one small quilt block piece from this lovely and so soft antique quilt (the larger piece has a tree). Please note: this is a very rare quilt and the price is reflective of the rarity of the textile.

This LG antique quilt rustic farmhouse holiday Christmas pillow is designed and handcrafted by me. I just love the contrasting textured edgings. I've added a jute bow, very tattered heart that contains a red ticking candy cane and antique 19th century hand stitched bone button eyes. I The back of the pillow is continued in a white antique quilt.
