I’ve been busy creating new things from antique sourced New England textiles here in 1787 farmhouse studio in Massachusetts.

I found an antique French red and blue striped grain sack at Brimfield. I added applique hearts made from an antique quilt. The textiles are all from the 19th century. The textures are really fantastic and quite rare. I can only make a few things from the small amount and then it will be forever gone.

The pillow is LG- 13x 9. It is large enough to display as an accent- but small and intimate enough to sit on a shelf or used as a display. The quilt heart appliques are several layers for added textures. The back is made from the same grain sack. The price reflects the rarity of such antique textiles and that the backing is continued.
