12" antique quilt bunny, carrot pocket pillow, farmhouse bowl filler, RARE shabby rabbit tier tray display, Easter decor cupboard tuck decor

I came across two RARE quilts - a log cabin & a very rare worn and tattered 19th century finely detailed quilt piece which I have repurposed into an adorable XL primitive bunny rabbit bowl filler pillow. The pocket holding the carrot 🥕 is from the rarest of rare quilts which I though a nice textured contrast to the log cabin quilt.

The quilt that makes up the pocket is quite old- it displays many layers of quilting and ancient batting with contrasting stitches. I cut through the layers to display this technique. Although it is tattered and well-worn, it still has such a lovely coloring that is perfect as a primitive bunny rabbit. The reverse is from a third 19th century quilt. I hand sewed a carrot and added a jute bow.

This rabbit will compliment any primitive, farmhouse, shabby cottagecore or French country decor. It also would make a thoughtful statement gift.

This worn embroidered applique antique quilt bunny rabbit can make a nice bowl filler, or displayed alone on a tray or as a cupboard tuck accent, it is a truly one of a kind bunny. Approximately 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Please note the worn nature of the antique quilt as there is some tea staining which adds to its charm. The price reflects the rarity of antique textiles which are getting increasingly hard to find - and as I added the same rare quilt to the reverse, the textiles to make this one of a kind bunny are more costly.
