11” antique grain sack bunny primitive farmhouse distressed pillow, rustic Easter rabbit with quilt carrot in pocket, Cupboard tuck shelf

11” antique French grain sack primitive bunny is really special as it is made from a RARE and tattered 19th century incredible French grain sack and I was only able to get just one sack. It seemed perfect to make up into large rabbit. The grain sack is a lovely khaki beige/green and has such rare and soft violet and white stripes. I have never seen this violet. This grain sack quite old- it has ancient stitching which you can see on the rabbits body and ears. I used a tattered part of the sack to make a pocket to stitch by hand and I added a quilt carrot to tuck in the bunny's pocket. I made the back from antique French ticking which goes really well against the grain sack texture. This is the rarest of grain sacks. I will make other pieces, but the rarity of this one demands that I make each piece differently. I am adding a really nice large pillow as well some hearts. Once I use it, there is no more.

This bunny rabbit will compliment any primitive Easter, farmhouse, shabby cottagecore or French country decor. It would make a thoughtful statement gift.

This worn antique grain sack bunny rabbit can make a nice bowl filler, or displayed alone on a tray or as a cupboard shelf sit and it is a truly one of a kind. Approximately 11 inches tall and 9 inches wide. Please note the worn nature of the antique grain sack as there is some tea staining which adds to its charm. The price reflects the rarity of antique textiles which are getting increasingly hard to find - and as I added antique French ticking to the reverse, the textiles to make this one of a kind heart are therefore more costly.
