14" antique crazy quilt bunny sofa pillow, Victorian silk & velvet baroque rabbit toss cushion, bunnies home decor, stunning antique lace

This 14” antique quilt bunny sofa pillow is made from a RARE Victorian baroque style crazy quilt made of luxe chocolate brown, navy blue velvets and silks. I edged it with stunning antique lace trim I bought in London recently. The background is a blush vintage silk velvet. Just charming as a farmhouse cottage quilt rabbit toss cushion or as folk art bunnies home decor. Years ago, women would stitch these lovely quilts from scraps of their worn but best loved garments - here: velvet, silk, embroidery and lace. It is so charmingly distressed/tattered and has the prettiest antique lace which I added to enhance its shabby design and for extra support for the ancient stitches. It is large enough to use for a toss cushion. Although it is tattered and well-worn, it still has such lovely rich colorings that is perfect as a farmhouse cottage bunny rabbit. The reverse is the same silk vintage velvet which adds to the charm, design and cost of this bunny.

This rabbit will compliment any farmhouse, shabby cottage or Spring/Easter decor. It also would make a thoughtful gift. Approximately 14 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Please note the worn nature of the antique quilt as there is some tea staining, worn areas or tatters which adds to its charm. The price reflects the rarity of antique textiles -particularly this special one- which are getting increasingly hard to find - and as I added the same rare quilt to the reverse, the textiles to make this one of a kind bunny are more costly.
