Details7” Antique crazy quilt strawberry is just stunning and charming for farmhouse decor. It is super prim & distressed with grain sack top that I hand stitched. This plump fabric strawberry is perfect as a handmade bowl filler- or peg hang it! Years ago thrifty housewives kept their worn out but favorite finest garments, turned them into scraps and made crazy quilts which were embroidered by hand. This piece was well worn and still so pretty!
Approximately 7 (long) x 3.5 - 4 inches (wide), this is a substantial hand sewn piece. Please note: the price reflects the time involved in hand sewing this item, the rarity of this antique textile. As with any antique textile there are worn, distressed, tattered, tea stained areas which adds to its charm. Not a toy. Returns not accepted for antique unique items such as this one. -
